Recently, I was badgered by @jas to make him a Live Writer plugin similar to the Tweetmeme plugins I’ve written. The plugin he wanted was for Google Buzz, you know, that service from Google that only Google uses.
Anyway, I wrote the plugin, it’s all done, and it inserts a Buzz icon where you choose it to in the options:
It’s now available on Live Gallery (finally), so go download it.
NOTE: This plugin won’t work if your blog engine strips javascript. WordPress.com, I’m looking at you!

Nice effort
Personally, I don’t quite understand all this hoopla with social networking plugins, when such buttons can and should be handled by the blog template, automatically.
One of your nicer plugins (AutoReplace) seems to have disappeared. Is there any chance that you will make it available again?
@BlogIdol Unfortunately that plug-in used a hidden feature in Live Writer that at the time was turned on, but had no interface to configure it. I simply made an interface for it. That feature has since been turned off in the later releases of Live Writer making my interface, sadly, redundant. It was a shame, because it was a useful feature. All I can suggest you do is submit the feedback to the Live Writer team and you never know, it might make a reappearance some day.
Google Buzz Plugin doesn’t work for me. When I post on my blog don’t appear any button.
I have Windows Live Writer 2011 on a Windows 7 PC. And it happens when I post on Blogger.
